TWO DAY BASIC OVAL COURSE $1800 75 LAPS (Rockingham Speedway only) Classroom instruction begins DAY ONE, addressing the basics of driving an authentic stock car at high speed, pit road safety, flag & hand signals, as well as other general information. First, students will walk the track with instructors who will describe the best & fastest driving line. Next, students drive passenger cars with an instructor to familiarize themselves with the speedway. After a lunch break, students will practice their skills driving the stock car by themselves under supervision of the instructors in the afternoon. On DAY TWO, students will learn a series of exercises & maneuvers designed to simulate racing conditions, such as passing, drafting & driving in traffic. After a one hour lunch break, conclude the day with an exciting four-car pack exercise. ONE DAY BASIC OVAL COURSE $900 30 LAPS (Rockingham Speedway only) This course is the first day of the TWO DAY BASIC OVAL COURSE, offering all the basic instruction you will need to pilot a NASCAR/ARCA-style stock car. Once classroom instruction is complete, all laps are driven solo – no lead car.
THUNDER $375 10 LAPS - Atlanta, Charlotte or Kentucky, 12 LAPS-Rockingham 8 LAPS - Michigan After a safety orientation, students are outfitted with firesuits, helmets & HANS devices. Once securely strapped in, the fun begins! Each student will follow a lead car driven by one of the FAST TRACK instructors. THUNDER & LIGHTNING COURSE $650 20 LAPS - Atlanta, Charlotte or Kentucky, 24 LAPS-Rockingham 16 LAPS - Michigan DOUBLE THE FUN! Class begins with the same preparation as for the THUNDER COURSE (described above). Students will have the opportunity to consult with the instructors before going out for the second of two driving segments. RACE CAR RIDES THREE LAP RACE CAR RIDE $90 Let us do the driving! Strap into one of our two-seater stock cars for three white-knuckle laps around the track of your choice from our schedule.
